Work Has Consumed Me

Q. I feel like my work has completely consumed me, and although I enjoy my work, I do feel there’s an unhealthiness to my work-life load. Could you provide a tip or two for maintaining a better work-life balance?
A. Robert Louis Stevenson once said, “Perpetual devotion to what a man calls his business is only to be sustained by perpetual neglect of many other things.” (more…)
Favorite Moment in Sports

Q. What has been your favorite moment in sports?
A. I have been blessed with so many great memories in sports, it would be awfully hard for me to pick just one favorite moment.
I could rattle off team championships I’ve enjoyed being a part of as a student-athlete and athletics administrator. (more…)

Q. If time only permitted you to read one magazine, what magazine would you choose?
A. Today, I’d choose Selling Power. Tomorrow, probably Entrepreneur, and Saturday, Wired. It just depends on the day.
