Identify Opportunities and Receive a Cookie

While staying in a DoubleTree Hotel, I came across a neat way the hotel is encouraging their guests to look for opportunities on how the hotel can improve.

A wall sign near the elevator read:

“Wanted!!

“Feedback during your stay!

“We want to know of any opportunities you have encountered.

“Reward!! One Warm Freshly Baked DoubleTree Cookie.

“Please fill out the below card and turn into the front desk for your reward.

“The general manager will personally review these and rectify as quickly as possible.

“Sincerely,

Sheriff (the hotel manager’s name was placed here)”

Below the sign was feedback cards with the header, “We Want to Know” and place for the guest to place their name, room number, and lines to write in the hotel’s opportunity.

Below the opportunity, the manager wrote, “I personally guarantee this will be handled within one hour of receipt.”
