Last Friday’s Telios Tip featured the Los Angeles Galaxy’s Adult Fantasy Camp and today’s Telios Tip features the LA Galaxy’s Youth Fantasy Camp, which any sports team could host with a ticket tie-in or without a ticket for those youth who are season ticket holders or who’ve already purchased a ticket.

Phillies Clinic and Luncheon for Women

The Philadelphia Phillies offered a Clinic and Luncheon for Women on May 15 that sold out and now are offering a Phillies Baseball 101 event on Aug 28.
There are two options being offered for the Phillies Baseball 101 – one that includes a ticket and one that does not include a ticket for season ticket holders and others who have already purchased a ticket. (more…)

Falcons to Host Football Academy

In August, the Atlanta Falcons will host its annual Football Academy, which last year attracted over 450 female Falcon fans from eight states who learned the Xs and Os of football from current and former Falcons players.
This is a great example of a clinic that sports organizations could host featuring one or more of its sports teams, along with tying in tickets for a game.

Offer Adult Clinics

While traveling on business last week, I came across a flyer promoting adult ice hockey clinics in June and July. It occurred to me that many sports teams frequently offer youth clinics but rarely do I see clinics targeting adults.
I think it’s a great idea and something we should do more. Remember, though, whether you’re in season or out of season, always include in the clinic package at least one ticket to a selected sporting event.
