Do you know someone who is so conservative, or overly negative, and it drives you absolutely crazy?
You know, the person who usually chooses to bunt his or her way to first base versus going for the home run; the person who fears failure and won’t put themselves in a vulnerable position.
We all have fears, and sometimes it’s difficult for us to walk to the edge, take a chance and go for it.
Charles Parnell once wrote: “Too many people are having what might be called ‘near-life experiences.’ They go through life bunting, so afraid of failure that they never try to win the big prizes, never knowing the thrill of hitting a home run or even taking a swing at one.”
I challenge you not to be that person who doesn’t know what it feels like to take a swing at a home run, and instead today choose to swing for the fence!
