7 Habits of Highly Effective People
September 10th 2007
If you have not read “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” by Stephen Covey, I highly encourage you to pick up a copy if you don’t own it, or pull the book of the shelf if you do, and commit each day to reading a chapter to understand and learn the concepts that will no doubt positively impact your life…personally as well as professionally.
The foundation of the 7 Habits are:
Habit 1: Be Proactive
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
Habit 3: Put First Things First
Habit 4: Think Win-Win
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to Be Understood
Habit 6: Synergize
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Make a commitment to purchase the book, read one chapter each day, apply what you learn, and then share – as I have with you today – with a friend the seven habits and encourage your friends to make the same commitment.
