National Anthem Tryouts

Have you ever thought you or someone you know has the talent to sing the National Anthem at a sporting event?
I promise you, that thought has never crossed my mind. If you’ve heard me sing – and very few people outside of my family have – you’d know why.
But I’m sure there are many talented singers who feel they have what it takes to sing the National Anthem, and the Real Salt Lake soccer team is providing those fans the opportunity to showcase their talents during an afternoon tryout.
The event is open to the public, and the team will also have season tickets available for pick-up, showcase available seats for purchase, offer in-field activities for kids, and have players on hand to sign autographs.
In the end, fans will have the opportunity to judge the finals of the National Anthem singing tryouts.
A neat event any sports team or college athletics department could host prior to a sports season.
