Hand-Written Thank You Notes

February 24th 2006

Send a thank you card to each new season ticket holder within one week of a sale and welcome them to your team.  If you really want to impress each of your new season ticket holders, have your owner, athletic director or coach send a hand-written note!

Your turn to take a swing…

What are some of your season ticket holder follow up best practices?

All the best,

Along a similar vein, something I like to do is this…

I get to know my clients and, following Ron’s blog topic, I’m sure sales departments get to know many of their season ticket holders.

When you read an article or see something related to the business or interests of your season ticket holder/client…print out the article or cut it out of the newspaper/magazine – Then snail mail the article and a Hand-Written Note to your client/season ticket holder.

Note could be as simple as, “Hey [CLIENT], I read this article recently and thought you might be interested in it. Hope all is well!”

When they receive this, they will be impressed. They will know that you know their business/interests and thought about them. It’s a great AND EASY way to build a stronger, more meaningful relationship with them.
