Free Shuttle Service to the Game
March 13th 2007
The Big Ten Conference hosted its Men’s Basketball Tournament in Chicago last week and offered fans free shuttle transportation to the United Center.
The shuttle, which ran every 10 to 15 minutes, serviced each of the seven Big Ten Conference hotels.
They operated two hours before tip-off of each game and ran until the conclusion of each Tournament session.
This was a great service for fans and most sports teams could provide complimentary shuttle transportation to its fans from restaurants, hotels, malls and other locations during the regular season.
In addition, sports teams could explore opportunities to sign a title sponsor to underwrite the shuttle expense and also generate incremental revenue.
