Sports teams are targeting college students with its advertising and promotions with weekday specials that include discounted single-game tickets to sporting events and $1 soft drinks and draft beers.
If sports teams brand a specific day each week for “College Night,” this promotion likely will prove to be successful in sports teams markets that have one or more colleges.
