Ticket Sales Payment Plans

Q. We have invoiced season ticket holders once each year and usually have two to three installments we ask for payments to be paid in full. What other payment plans exist and should we be considering?
A. There are many ticket payment options and I’ll share two to consider. One would be a year-round approach where a season ticket holders bank account would be debited each month similar to other household bills.
A second payment option may be extending the three payments to six or more to spread out payments and decrease each installment. With strategy, sports teams and season ticket holders have realized a couple benefits.
One, it’s a nice benefit and appreciated by your season ticket holders, and two, with more payment installments, season ticket holders may look to improve (upgrade) their seating location or increase their number of season tickets.
