College Athletics Anniversary Sale

Q. Many retailers have annual anniversary sales and I’d like to know if this kind of sales could work well for college athletics?
A. Any time a college or professional sports team can celebrate its history (whether just a few years or many), I believe it can be positive and also provide a college or sports team with multiple opportunities.
For one, it’s a great way to thank your loyal season ticket holders and fans for their support over the years.
Anniversary celebrations are also opportunities to extend special ticket offers – single-game if you’re in-season, or possibly a season ticket special leading up to the start of s season.
Colleges and sports teams could also create an anniversary logo marking special years, and create a line of merchandise and specialty items to commemorate the anniversary.
Why not extend your celebration to include concessions specials?
