Do you see the positives in everything? Are you that optimistic person that, no matter what the situation is, you believe the cup is half-full?
I’d like to think that’s how I am and how I respond to each situation thrown at me, but the truth is I’m not as consistently positive as I’d like to be.
I could make excuses and say, “Well, it’s just being realistic, ” or “I’m just calling it like it is, ” but the truth is there are people in this world who have that amazing quality of always being optimistic no matter what the hand is that’s dealt to them.
If there was one area in my life – both personally and professionally – that I’d like to improve, having a positive attitude towards everything would be at the top. Some people may not believe that’s possible – that would be the pessimistic crew – but I believe our attitude is our choice. As James Allen once said, “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.”
