So many people worry, including me at times, about things we can’t control.  Why is that?  Human nature I suppose, but it does seem senseless. It’s also not healthy.

I read this quote today, “The hope of the world lies in what one demands, not of others, but of oneself.” –  Dwight Currie’s

Countless times each day we worry about external things that can get in the way of our goals, our dreams, and our simple every day existence.  It’s quite silly when you think about it.  It’s unwarranted stress that none of us needs.

Think about this: A recent survey indicates more than 80 percent of Americans feel more stressed today than a one year or five years ago. Over 80 percent!

If you’re thinking, “That sounds about right, ” it’s about time you, me and the others who make up the 80 percent do something about it.

Since most of the stress we experience is self-inflicted, we simply need to condition ourselves to toss aside those senseless worries, or and address those things we’re in control of that can be easily remedied.
