I watched a short story video posted to GodTube titled, “I’m Watching You Dad, ” and it motivated me this past weekend to share the video with each of the fathers I know, as well as in today’s blog post.
“I’m Watching You Dad” illustrates how a child learns from his father’s words and actions, and it also emphasizes the importance of investing quality time with our children and always being open and honest with them. It’s very well done.
Ironically, I also watched Kenny Chesney’s “Don’t Blink” music video this past weekend, which shares how life moves quickly, and the importance of giving love and respect to others.
As Stephen Covey says, “Put first things first” when it comes to your life’s priorities. If you’re a father, I encourage you to invest a few minutes with your child (or children) to view the “I’m Watching You Dad” short story together.
It’s a great reminder that we need to always strive to be a positive role model for our children.
