Edison Had One Relentless Attitude

May 23rd 2007

Thomas Edison was about as relentless as anyone.

It’s reported Edison had tried over 2,000 different experiments that failed before he finally got the light bulb to work. These days, who tries anything 20 times let alone 2,000? Are you kidding me?

Edison once told a reporter that, from his perspective, he had never failed at all. Inventing the light bulb was just a 2,000-step process.

Lesson learned. Get up when you’re knocked down, and don’t give up until you succeed.
