Pain Is Better Than Regret

I came across the following quote someone once made when asked how he managed to finish a marathon: “The Pain of discipline is less than the pain of regret.”
As I prepare to run in my first marathon tomorrow, I’m sure there will come a time or two that I’ll want to recall this quote.
